Although if you think the share price is going to rise in the future you can buy them and hold them long term until the share price rises above 30 and you make some good money .
If you think the price is to go up, then you can buy them at current market value of 26 and hold them. You don't have to pay 30 for it :-)
Options are only valuable if they are more than the exercisable price, if not the paper is worth nothing.

Plus they are saying that there will be forward movement, in the EB cut-off dates in the coming months to rhyme with the current negotatitions in Congress on CIR/ SKIL.

Thank you; my reading of the law is also the same. However, a few of years ago (post-2001) both inside and outside counsel hired by my company came to a different conclusion. Hence, my parsing of the words.

You can convert your I-485 to Consular Processing (CP) and keep your GC process going. Since GC is for a future job, you can work this out with your employer. Basically, your employer has to support you so that when you are called for the consular interview, you need to be able to show documentary evidence that you will be moving back to the US and joining the same job at or above the advertised wage once your GC is approved.
Are you sure AC21 is valid for Consular Processing? AFAIK, AC21 applies only to AOS applications. See Murthy's note on CP vs AOS @ http://www.murthy.com/news/UDaosvcp.html

Looks like I misunderstood your situation, you will be paid from Canada but working from a remote location ... somewhere in US. This will be tricky as H-1 visa requires an US employment whereas H-4 does not permit working at all. Perhaps a lawyer can explain.

Can anyone give me the combination of numbers to dial to speak to an IO for the texas centre?I know its been passed around before but i just cant seem to find it .Thanks a lot in advance..Also do you think its any use me calling rite now,my PD is EB2 India..aug 2003..Applied in june.Is it too soon to try ...just itching to call once:)Thanks again for any help.

I applied for the I-485 with a notice date of July 3, 2007 (application mailed in June) and paid $180 for the EAD that has a notice date of 07 November 2007 (was not filed concurrently). Do I have to pay the $340 fees to renew it? I went through the instructions and they are confusing as they say I don't need to pay the fees if I file I-485 before July 30, 2007. At another place they say no fees if filed under the fee structure IMPLEMENTED on July 30, 2007. I went through the electronic filing and they don't even ask for the date of I-485 filing, just charge you the $340. Any advice?

my one piece of advice is , dont go to lawyer for canada immigration....
the lawyer becomes a biggest bottleneck in communication with cic ...
its best you directly deal with canadian immigration services (cic)....

This is all India specific and specific to EB2. I did not add years2006 and 2007 as my PD is in 2005. But I did do it upto dec 2005.
1. You can expect the spill over from EB1 in big way
2. You can expect spillover from EB2 ROW in a big way
This should help clear backlog atleast upto 2004 cases. However the interfiling from EB3 to EB2 could stop the backlog from being reduced.

Untill you have somthing written it will be very diffecult to prove in court.
Don't waster your money in court cases its very expensives .
Talk to any good attorny and find one which can work on % bases if you still want to go to court .

Our company guy said, there is some new policy in 485 processing which is causing them to gather lot of other information (I havent seen this policy published anywhere..so thought this guy is bluffing)..but I dont know many ppl have been saying about such RFEs or RFEs which were not raised before are more common now.
Look at my other thread as an example.
Hopefully you resolve it fast

Your wife does not have to run payroll to get money from the company. She can just withdraw money from the company whenever she wants. Just make sure that the taxes are paid correctly when you file for taxes.
I have registered an LLC on wife's EAD. She is the sole owner of the company and working as a contractor for another company and getting salary on her company's name. Before she registered this company she never used her EAD. She is/was on H4 visa.
What needs to be done to make sure she in on her EAD now and not on H4 anymore?
How she can become an employee of her own company and get payed every 15 days.
What needs to be done to run a payroll and pay herself salary on monthly or bi-monthly basis?
Please advise.

and yes, it's a very odd situation. Hard to explain and maybe I should have tried to clarify more earlier.
From what I gather(heard 3rd party), the foreign parent company set up an office here in the US over a year ago and this person came over on an L1visa and has been here since early 2007 working, and traveling back and forth to their home country and paid wages by their foreign employer. This new office/company has not done much,if any business, direct in the US(no employees, etc) the past 1st year of their visa.
The same foreign parent bought a majority share of a 2nd company in the US end of 2007 which is established here. The foreign parent filed an L1A visa petition for this same person, early 2008 on behalf of the newly bought US company which did get approved? Like I said, for whatever reason, this person came over here early(stupid!) with that green card waiver and has been working. I do not presently know if he has gone back for an interview and made it back with a visa or not at this point?
All in all, I think this situation is getting worse from the sounds of it.

I was looking for getting VISA for my Niece and Nephew, who are below 14yrs. But I didnt find an option for them not going to consulate.
it take more effort n paperwork to get the visa without going to consulate even for the kids below 14, better option is to go to consulate.
My 4 yr old niece went in person for the visa along with an adult of course.

Like all July 2 filers, I will now become eligible for AC-21.
My I-140 has been approved long back.
However, I do not have a copy of approved I-140.
If i Change, I will change using H1 and not EAD.
In the new company, will I be able to get a 3 year extension with ONLY I-485 receipt?
I am retrogressed and so technically should be able to get 3 year ext.But, the only way to prove it is through I-140 approval copy which I do not have.
If anybody has changed using H1 transfer and only I-485 receipt, please let me know whether you got 1 year extension or 3 year extension.

I also have LUD on my I-140 which is pending in Texas. My I-485 was sent to NSC on July 25th. I am hoping that this is something to do with the receipting of I-485.

Congrats ! I guess the 3 green card is a magic number as mine was 10 yrs stay and 3 GC applications as well.
Did you receive the I-797 approval letter and at which service center was your case approved at.

Nope did not getthe I-797 yet, just an e-mail from USCIS. This was at NSC
