1. Can a new employer apply for H1B extension based on my I-140 approval even though I am not in USA.? My I-140 has not been revoked or cancelled.
Yes, this should be possible assuming your priority date is still backlogged. If not, you can at least get the unused part of your 6 years.
2.Can I claim the remaining time on my H1B approval(based on I-140) with company XYZ ? I have copy of the H1B approval but not sure if it has been revoked.

My lca was filed for michigan and pennsylvania 2 weeks ago.
employer says lca are taking longer.(needs lca before h1b can be filed)

If you are planning to send it through an attorney, dont forget to send the new G-28.
Also, once u have sent it, i will suggest taking an infopass appointment after a month or so and making sure that the new lawyer information has been updated.

I read a few of the comments and quickly realized that its just trash
I refuse to post a comment when the caliber of people commenting on there is so low that they will gain nothing from my comments and only possibly use it to spread more hatred.
All they are doing is openly showing that they have no intelligence and are not worth the attention they get.
Why bother to comment when they can't finish a proper sentence without abusing. I got better things to do.
Whoever is loud gets heard.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Defense (DOD) today announced that National Guard deployments to the Southwest border will begin on Aug. 1 as part of the administration�s unprecedented efforts to combat the transnational criminal organizations that smuggle weapons, cash and people across our Southwest border. The President has also requested $600 million in supplemental funds for enhanced border protection and law enforcement activities, which are critical to our ongoing efforts.
�Over the past year and a half, this administration has pursued a new border security strategy with an unprecedented sense of urgency, making historic investments in personnel, technology and infrastructure,� said Secretary Napolitano. �These troops will provide direct support to federal law enforcement officers and agents working in high-risk areas to disrupt criminal organizations seeking to move people and goods illegally across the Southwest border.�

In the last few days there is little news/action about STRIVE act. When this act was proposed all of us got excited and promised to each other to do everything to make it a success. Some of us did make phone calls to lawmakers (as per IV directions) but after that everything seems cooled down. Why are we losing our focus now?
Yes the new Senate bill S.1035 (tightening H1B program) might have put some doubts in our minds; but can we continue our efforts on STRIVE and deal with S.1035 thru amendments when it comes to discussion. Discussion about S.1035 on our forum is fine and in fact we might have to do that to figure out how bad/good it is our specific issues. But in the meantime we have to continue our efforts on STRIVE act too.
