Hi
I am consultant and travel around. My company, a publicly listed company, is headquartered in Washington DC. For the I-485 filing, I got my medical done in my current project location in Florida and used my address in florida in the I-693 form.
My lawyer is advicing that I should be using the same address in my I-485 form. I have a 'permanent' adress in the DC area and I was thinking I could use that since I will be leaving florida within a year but I will follow my attorney's address and use the florida address.
Now to my question....
Would there be a problem later on if I update my address to my DC address after I recieve my Fingerprinting/EAD/AP. Any related comments will be appreciated

I am not an immigration expert, but don't you need to show spouse's valid H1 visa to get a H4 visa? ... Unless both spouses are applying for their respective visas at the same time.
Thanks... that is what I thought but my wife is having concerns about it since she heard some of her friends had such issues. I wanted to see how true and/or widespread this issue is

I know a person, who was on H1b since Oct 06 without Pay (with valid H4visa stamp) and In feb 07 , she went to India and returned to US on her unexpired H4 visa. Did anyone hear similar stories.
I am trying to find out, if returning to US using unexpired H4 visa is safe option

When 140 is denied, then 485 is also denied. Appeal going to AAO is common thing. Will sit there forever. Its takes approximately 12-20 months to get a reply.
Mine is already crossed 12 months now.

Thanks for the reply. I've also got canadian immigration as a backup and my visa is valid till April 20. I was planning to go to canada and come back to US on parole but my friends advised me to wait as from march bulletin it looks like my PD for Oct 05 will become current hopefully in the next bulletin. I was told that I might put the US case in risk as you never know what could happen when you come back.
What do you guys suggest?

The old I-140 is all valid. The only thing that you are taking is the date. When your new I-140 is approved and you interfile with I-485 then you request USCIS to take the new I-140 instead of the old one. Also if your new I-140 has problem at that stage (even after approval, some time it happens), still the old I-140 is valid.

1..I would like to know if an employer revokes 140, and if the AC21 is not submitted at the time of NOID...how many days are given by USCIS?
Is it 30 days?
2..If I go to another emplyer and try to do interfile, still I need to file AC21?
And if the new category is EB2(my old application is EB3), still is that ok?
For eg..EB3 title is system analyst, and if I want to go for Eb2 then which could be more apprepriate..?Senior SYSTEM ANALYST

In first place this is not a place where you will have individuals answering questions related to Canadian Immigration. You can look at "http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board" and get more info on the same.

Your eligibility to apply for this program is contingent upon the fact that you hold a current H1B and are working on H1B for atleast one year. It is also important to prove your H1B status when you get your permanent residency with Canada. With the over flow of applications, they added another clause in the form of eligibility which will make only "IT Managers" eligible for this category. They were taking applications with all NOC codes but offlate around May 29, the eligibility is dependent on your IT Manager role.
