some where i read in the forum if we leave the country without the approval of ap our 485 status will be abonded.
If you leave the country after getting your I-485 receipts then its okay whether you get your Advance Parole papers or not since you are going for H1 stamping and are not going to use AP anyway.

At the time of filing my application I just used one address.
Somehow I didn't know you could use Permanent address and current address.
I'm not sure but I guess my lawyer didn't file G325 form.
Is filing G325 form something mandatory ?
I've moved recently.
I want to change the address now but want to give a new address (which is not the address I moved to .)
Should it be fine?

The U.S Department of State (DOS) has advised that there are no more employment-based visa numbers available for fiscal year 2009, which concludes September 30, 2009. This affects all employment based categories, but particularly applicants in the employment-based non-ministerial fourth category (EB-4). The EB-4 non-ministerial category includes religious occupation, vocation and professional categories (but not the ministerial category).
The non-ministerial EB-4 category is set to expire September 30, 2009 and individuals in this category must have their adjustment of status applications approved or if they applied via consular processing, they must be admitted into the United States by midnight by September 30, 2009. Unless Congress extends the sunset provision, individuals in the EB-4 non-ministerial category are unable to file Form I-485 Adjustment of Status Applications or consular processing applications after September 30, 2009.
While the I-360 religious worker petitions (ministerial and non-ministerial categories) may still be filed before September 30, 2009, given the unavailability of visas in the EB-4 category the month of September, the Applications to Adjust Status (Form I-485) or applications for consular processing will not be accepted this month. Thus, adjustment of status applications that remained pending will not be approved unless a visa number had already been captured.
Individuals in the EB-4 ministerial category are eligible to file Adjustment of Status applications until October 1, 2009, when visas in the EB-4 category become available. I posted the same kind of question in murthy forum and I got a reply that education requirement is not needed once I140 is approved which determines EB2/EB3. So I guess we can port to any job which is similar/same. Don't take my word and do your own research for exact info.

Guys,
My wife is a Canadian citizen, what is the process of getting a H4 for her? (I am on an H1-140 approved).
1)Do I file an app with USCIS?
2)Can she go apply at the US consulate in Canada?
What type of documents, forms are involved ?
The reason for this post is I was given conflicting info by my old lawyer.

I think you need to have a consultation with an immigration lawyer, if you want a legal opinion from someone other than your current lawyer. There isn't really enough information in your question to give an answer. Without knowing why the L-1A petition was denied, it's very hard to suggest a strategy. If there was an RFE issued before the denial, you should be able to see what CIS was concerned about.

I did my masters in US and have got my H1 B status which expires next year. Had a few question. Just to add to my situation i have not got my H1 stamping done on my passport.
