Am currently on h4.my husband filed new h1b for me in april 2009 and it got approved in August 2009.
But when he filed my h1b i was in india.
i came to us on June 2009 on H4 visa.
can i go ahead and apply for change of status from h4 to h1b and start working.or else should i have to get my h1b stamped before i start my work.please advice.

From my experience The people at the national center have no idea whats happening when compared to the guys at the specific centers. The national centers issues generic solutions. (Say fill a form and wait for 45 days. If after 45 days there is no answer they again send the form, etc) If you really want to know more or get proper action, the people at the specific centers will have to be contacted.
The old way to get to the specified center is back. Dont listen the messages, just press the order of the buttons and it will work.

You can get the visa the same day, no appointment required. You will need to be there early in the morning

did it twice already. will do it how much ever time it takes to get the right job. cant let the life suck in eb3 india wait. already waited too long in 485 filing time. cant ruin my life anymore. never informed no one abt my move. cos, in my opinion there will be no time, where they will get to process my eb3 india application with pd jan 2003.

I am a UK citizen brought up in India. I am in US now working on H1-B. Since I plan to return to India after few years for good, I decided to apply for OCI(overseas citizens of India)/dual citizenship of India.
I will have to apply for green card after few years to maintain my employee status here in USA.
Now, the question is, will I get privilege if I am UK citizen compared to dual citizen of India when I apply for US green card?
If I get any privilege(like quicker processing time, etc) I will just get a visitor's visa/PIO card of India for now.
Please advice. I am really confused. Thank you.

I agree that you should just send the G-325, if that is all they ask for. Just follow the instructions on the RFE regarding how to respond.

Now both companies A and B made a joint venture (JV) and made company �c� joining company �a� and �b�.
Company A has 25% stake and company B has 75% stake in JV(Company "c"). The new formed company "c" has �new name�, all employees filed �new employment applications� and have �offered a new employment� with the new company �c�
Now my question is as this company �c� is totally �new�, can I convert my EB3 case to EB2 and use company �a� experience and file for EB2 with company �c�

I talked to an attorney and he said that she can file but likelihood of getting another extension is very low.
Talk to a competent attorney. Medical reasons are seen as EXCEPTIONAL cases by USCIS. If the illness is serious enough she will be given preferential treatment and might get visa waiver for the duration of her treatment. A proper attorney can advise further.

The reason that your code is not working is that e.Key only references the most recently pressed key, so it can't be equal to 3 different keys at once.
If nothing else, couldn't you maintain a list/array of the currently pressed keys? You could update the list with handlers for KeyUps and KeyDowns and figure out whether a certain combination of keys was pressed by iterating through the array. I'm not sure if there is built-in functionality to do this, but it would be easy enough to implement.

The job is getting over from Company 'A'.
Can I use my EAD and can stay in US with out working to any company?
Will there be any issues if TAX is not paid when I am not working.
If i work part time then on do I need to work for company 'B' only?

I have a Q regarding the follow-to-join rule. Say one has filed I-140 and I-485 recently (concurrently filing). To use the follow-to-join rule, can the spouse file I-485 at any time after the primary applicant's I-140 is approved but before I-485 is approved? In that case, will the spouse's I-485 be approved around the same time as the primary applicant?
A related Q, will a Visa number be immediately available after one's I-140 is approved?

I have a request / concern / what ever you would say.
Please do not cirtize if you do not like the idea, just ignore and leave the thread.
There are so many people comming to IV for other experts guidance on different things mainly on H1B status, AC21 status, AP, FP, EAD and H4 to EAD, .....
Why don't you create a general guide lines or rules or do's and don't or QA's for each topic, so that each member or visitor who come to IV can atleast go through them before asking or posting quesitons.
You can create a survery for different kinds of questions people / members / visitors might ask or have fore each topic before creating the thread so that we can have a pool of questions and answers for each topic from experts or attorney answered. (you might say we have recordings from attorney Prashanti Reddy, but it would be good if we have some thing which can be referred easily i.e., typed.
These are just some of my thoughts, it can or cannot be implemented. It depeneds on IV admins/Gurus/Experts on this forum.
Gurus, please provide your thoughts.
